Clampco Products, Inc. is the leading USA manufacturer of engineered joining solutions. Our stainless steel T-Bolt Band Clamps, V-Band Clamps/Couplings, Spring-Loaded Clamps, Worm Gear Clamps and Stainless Steel Strap Assemblies can be found wherever rubber hoses, plastic tubing, solid objects, flanges, pipe or other parts must be fastened, joined or securely connected.
Clampco Products is proud to be a private Employee-Owned Company, producing Made in the USA products in Wadsworth, Ohio. Clampco Products currently serves commercial and industrial companies in a wide variety of markets including the aerospace, construction, filtration, irrigation, marine, material handling, medical, on/off-road vehicles, rail and water treatment industries. Clampco also supplies many well-known international customers and is certified to AS9100D w/ Design, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, plus JCP approved, Nadcap® accredited, and is seeking NIST/CMMC certification.
1971
Founded on Family Values
Clampco Products was founded on June 24, 1971, by James and Linda Venner in Wadsworth, Ohio. From the beginning, the company focused on providing high-quality products, responsive customer service, and a commitment to helping customers solve application challenges. Those principles remain the foundation of Clampco today.
1970s
Growth and Expansion
During its early years, Clampco supplied OEM and aftermarket customers in the construction and trucking industries. As demand grew, the company quickly outgrew its original facility and relocated to a larger building in 1977. Three subsequent expansions followed, establishing the foundation for future growth.
1980s
Innovation and Industry Expansion
The 1980s marked a period of rapid growth and modernization. Clampco expanded into new industrial markets, began supplying products to the U.S. government, and implemented computerized sales, purchasing, inventory and administrative systems. In 1986, the acquisition of Specialty Products Co. of Wickliffe, Ohio broadened the company's capabilities and accelerated growth, helping establish Clampco as a recognized leader in engineered clamping solutions.
1990s
A New Home for Growth
In 1991, Clampco built and relocated to its current Wadsworth headquarters and manufacturing facility, providing the space and infrastructure needed to support continued growth. Throughout the decade, the company expanded its presence across a variety of industrial and commercial markets while strengthening its manufacturing capabilities and preparing for future investments in technology, automation, and product development.
2000s
Investing for the Future
As global manufacturing competition intensified, Clampco made significant investments in robotics, automation, software systems, and employee training. These strategic investments strengthened production efficiency and positioned the company to compete successfully in a changing global marketplace. Today, Clampco operates multiple highly automated manufacturing work cells, with a continuous commitment to capital planning to support a wide range of custom-engineered solutions.
2010s
Expansion and Certification
In 2015, Clampco completed a 60,000-square-foot expansion of its Wadsworth manufacturing facility, creating space for a new research and development laboratory while increasing production and warehouse capacity.
In 2019, Clampco achieved ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and AS9100D certifications, further strengthening its quality management systems and opening opportunities within the commercial aerospace and defense industries.
2020s
Employee Ownership and Aerospace Leadership
In 2023, Clampco became a 100% Employee-Owned Company through the establishment of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). The transition reinforced the company's long-term commitment to its employees, customers, and community while creating a culture of ownership throughout the organization.
The same year, Clampco expanded its AS9100 certification to include design capabilities. In 2025, the company achieved Nadcap® accreditation for specialty welding processes, an important milestone that further strengthened its position within the aerospace and defense markets.
Clampco’s solution-based sales approach combines decades of clamp manufacturing expertise with a proven 6-step process designed to help customers solve challenges faster, reduce costs, and bring new products to market more efficiently.

AS9100 with Design
AS9100 with Design is the internationally recognized Quality Management System standard for the aviation, space and defense industries. Built upon ISO 9001 with additional aerospace requirements from organizations including FAA, NASA and DoD, this certification demonstrates Clampco’s ability to meet the rigorous quality, traceability and reliability expectations of aerospace and defense customers. The Joint Certification Program (JCP) provides U.S. and Canadian contractors with access to sensitive but unclassified military technical data. NIST and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
Clampco is pursuing NIST and Cybersecurity Model Certification (CMMC) compliance as our ongoing commitment to cyber security, data protection and defense industry readiness. Compliance to this standard will further demonstrate Clampco’s ability to safeguard sensitive information and meeting evolving cybersecurity requirements for aerospace and defense customers.
